Abu Dhabi: Shoppers at Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi received an unexpected surprise when UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the popular shopping destination on August 11.
The President was seen walking through Lulu Hypermarket, accompanied by Lulu Group Managing Director MA Yusuff Ali, as shoppers and residents gathered to greet him.
Dressed in a dark blue kandura, Sheikh Mohamed warmly acknowledged people around him and stopped to shake hands with several residents. Videos from the visit showed shoppers smiling and waving as they caught a glimpse of the UAE leader during his walk through the mall.
In one widely shared moment, a man wearing a white kandoora saluted the President. Sheikh Mohamed responded with a smile and placed his hand on his chest, acknowledging the gesture warmly.
Other footage from the visit showed the President waving to people standing nearby and looking at products displayed inside the hypermarket.

Sheikh Mohammed was also seen accompanying the Abu Dhabi ruler as they entered a hotel, while residents and visitors gathered nearby to greet them.
