Dubai Launches Rewards Programme Offering Residents Over Dh3,000 for Inviting Family and Friends
Dubai: The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has unveiled a new initiative designed to encourage residents to invite their loved ones to experience the emirate, offering reward packages worth more than Dh3,000 for eligible referrals.
Named “A Dubai Invite,” the city ambassador programme allows UAE residents and citizens to earn exclusive benefits when friends or family members from abroad visit Dubai during the campaign period.
Rewards Worth Over Dh3,000
Residents whose invited guests arrive in Dubai between July 20 and October 31, 2026, can receive reward packages featuring complimentary hotel stays, dining experiences, attraction tickets and lifestyle offers.
The benefits remain valid until December 31, 2026, unless stated otherwise by participating partners.
How the Programme Works
To participate, residents must register their overseas guests through the official online nomination platform before they travel to Dubai.
Once the visitor arrives, authorities will automatically verify the entry. Eligible residents will receive a confirmation email containing instructions on redeeming their rewards, with benefit packages expected to be issued within 72 hours of the visitor’s verified arrival.
Residents may nominate up to five visitors per submission and can submit additional nominations separately. However, each eligible resident can receive a maximum of three reward packages during the campaign.
Eligibility Criteria
The programme is open to:
- UAE residents and citizens aged 18 years or older
- Emirates ID holders
- Visitors who are not UAE residents
- Tourists travelling on valid visit visas or eligible for visa-on-arrival
- Visitors entering Dubai by air, sea or road between July 20 and October 31, 2026
The tourism department clarified that the programme does not include visa processing. Visitors are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documents before arriving.
Hotels, Dining and Attractions Included
Reward packages include offers from several hospitality and lifestyle brands across Dubai.
Participating partners include:
- W Dubai Mina Seyahi
- The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi
- Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark
- Meliá Desert Palm
- IHG Hotels & Resorts
- Careem
- Hala
The offers span accommodation, restaurants, tourist attractions and lifestyle experiences.
Important Conditions
Officials noted that each visitor can only be nominated once throughout the campaign. If multiple residents nominate the same individual, only the first successful nomination will qualify for rewards.
Residents are also not required to notify authorities when their guests arrive, as visitor verification will be completed automatically through immigration records.
Boosting Tourism Through Residents
The initiative forms part of Dubai’s broader strategy to strengthen tourism by encouraging residents to become ambassadors for the city. By rewarding locals for introducing friends and relatives to Dubai, the programme aims to increase visitor arrivals while showcasing the emirate’s hospitality, attractions and experiences.
