Dubai: Authorities have urged UAE residents to rely only on official sources for information as military tensions between Iran and the United States intensified on Friday, triggering security concerns and travel disruptions across parts of the Gulf region.

The latest developments include reported military strikes, heightened security measures, disruptions to air travel, and increased monitoring of shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz. While the UAE has not announced any changes affecting daily life, officials continue to advise residents to remain vigilant and avoid circulating unverified information on social media.

Dubai Rejects False Reports

Dubai authorities dismissed online reports claiming explosions had occurred in Downtown Dubai, confirming that no such incident had taken place.
